No War
This poster was originally distributed free to peace groups in 1991 by the
artist David Lance Goines "as a personal response to the Persian Gulf War."
"War. What a colossal waste of time and money. War is the organized
aggression of one governmental entity against another for the benefit of
those entities and not the individuals in them. War is very, very expensive.
We finally paid off the American Civil War (1861-1865) in 1972, and that only
covered the winning side's debts. Not to mention the something on the order
of two or three million Confederate and Union citizens killed."
